Born in 1959 in Br\u010dko, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Filipovi\u0107 is an acclaimed photographer and writer whose work spans decades and disciplines, including graphic and product design. He has published around twenty solo books, often blending photography and literature, many of which have been recognised internationally.<\/p>
His German edition ofEin Jahr in der H\u00f6lle<\/em>(Season of Hell \u2013 Sarajevo Anno Domini 1993<\/em>) was named Book of the Month, andEntseeltes Land<\/em>topped German bestseller lists for months. His booksPapa u Hrvata<\/em>(The Pope among Croats<\/em>) andPapa u Sarajevu<\/em>(The Pope in Sarajevo<\/em>) received international awards for excellence in book design. His work has inspired theatre productions, appeared in leading magazines includingParis Match<\/em>,Life<\/em>, andVogue<\/em>, and been exhibited in prestigious galleries and museums worldwide.<\/p> Filipovi\u0107 collaborated with Magnum Photos under the pseudonym ZORO and has been featured in several international documentaries. A member of the Croatian Association of Independent Artists and the International Federation of Journalists, he has lived and worked in Zagreb since 1978.<\/p>
