\r\n<\/p>
Giulio Piscitelli (b.\r\n1981, Napoli) approached photography in 2008 and after earning a degree in\r\nCommunication Studies began his photographic career with Italian and foreign\r\nnews agencies.<\/p>
<\/p>
Giulio also collaborated\r\nwith the historical photo archive Parisio of Naples working on the postproduction\r\nof images and as an Archivist until 2010.<\/p>
<\/p>
His work has concentrated\r\non international current affairs, Giulio has dedicated a substantial amount of\r\ntime over the past 5 years to a long term project \u201cFrom there to here\u201d that\r\nfocuses on the immigration crisis in Europe. In recent years he has expanded\r\nhis interest to other international crises such as the coup in Egypt and the\r\nwars in both Syria and Ukraine.<\/p>
<\/p>
Giulio\u2019s photographic dispatches have been published by leading national and international newspapers\r\nand magazines. His work has been selected for exhibitions in spaces such as\r\nVilla Pignatelli, University of Catanzaro, International Festival of Journalism\r\nin Perugia, Angkor Photo Festival, Brera Gallery; Visa Pour L\u2019Image Festival;\r\nHannover photo festival; La Maternit\u00e8 d\u2019Elne; Night of photography in\r\nSwitzerland; Bangkok photo festival; Annenberg\r\nSpace for Photography.<\/p>
<\/p>
Giulio currently lives in\r\nNaples and is represented by the photo agency Contrasto since 2013.<\/p>
