{"id":"38","title":"Yannis Kontos","description":"Yannis Kontos was born in Ioannina, Greece in 1971, a freelance professional photojournalist; Yannis was first associated with the French international agencies Sygma (1998-2000) and Gamma (2001-2002) and has been affiliated with the American agency Polaris Images from its inception. Specialising in longer assignments, Yannis has covered many parts of the world, from Palestine, Israel, West Sahara and Sierra Leone, and from North Korea, Indonesia, Iran and Colombia.
